Pay for this research job is $3000.00 flat rate upon successful completion. Research goal is to obtain hard evidence of the sale of the herb Mitragyna Speciosa (aka Kratom) as a food or dietary supplement in the United States prior to October 15th, 1994. This herb was very popular as a tea for people in Malaysia and other Asian countries prior to 1994, so it is very likely that it was sold commercially as a tea for immigrants from these countries in the United States prior to 1994. However, we require hard evidence and documentation which could be advertisements, product catalogs, or sales records that can be verified with a 3rd party. Some herb shops owners have claimed to have sold this herb prior to Oct 15th, 1994, but there has yet to be any hard evidence produced of these claims. Freedom of Information Act requests may also be helpful. Pay will only be upon successful completion of this research product that provides confirmed, verifiable evidence of sale or marketing of this herb as a food (tea) or supplement in the United States prior to 1994.
