Create a module called pos_referral. This module depends on point_of_sale and pos_loyalty. This must be done in Odoo 10 community version. How the referral system works: A customer can be assigned a referral tier. The tier affects the % points that can be earned from referrals. When an existing customer brings a friend to the shop, a new customer is created for the friend, and referred_by field is set to existing customer. When the friend spends money in the shop, the existing customer earns loyalty points based on the % in his tier. The loyalty points can be used to redeem rewards (same as existing loyalty system) A customer can have unlimited referrals linked to him.
