I am looking for a software developer to build a tool to convert data saved in generic CSV files into a proprietary file format used by a piece of software named Motec i2 ([login to view URL]) that is used to analyse data from car racing. The Motec i2 format is not documented so some reverse engineering is required. There are several programs available for converting sim racing data logs into the i2 format so this proves it is achievable. [login to view URL] [login to view URL] i2 is available for free (both standard and pro versions) and is free to use. There is sample data available which will aid in the reverse engineering of the file format. I need someone to analyse the file format to allow me to turn generic CSV data from another datalogger into a file that can be opened by i2 Pro. Full project specification is open to discussion. I have attached a sample i2 log file.
