We'd like to create a website for persons who want to organise parties or simply participate in one and don't know what to bring.
The idea is simple, the person who organises the party will create an event and will make a list of all the things he needs.
The person who creates the event has the possibility of adding or deleting items, whereas the participants (persons he will add to his event: guests) will only be able to check a box or several next to the item they will bring. The list of items will be shown on the website in the form of a grocery list (beer 2/3 - Chips 1/5, etc.). For example, if the host requires 5 packs of beer, 10 packs of chips, 2 packs of plastic cup, etc. one participant can say he'll be bringing 1 pack of beer and 1 pack of chips. He will check the boxes (we want to add a number as well if ever a participant wishes to bring two packs of beer and not one) and it will show the other participants that the number of packs of beer required as well as the number of pack of chips required went down from 0 out of 5 to 1 out of 5 for the beer, from 0 out of 10 to 1 out of ten for the chips and so on until the list is completed and the organiser has everything he needs to host his party.
You will see below mock-ups of the website that show how we want the website to look like. There will be a page to sign up, a home page, my account page, one page to create an event and fill out the list, one page to join an event, page for the users and that's it.
