Opencart Remember my checkout

I'd like to have a simple modification for Opencart 1.5.6.4 and/or Opencart 2.0.1.1 default installations (I will customize them for my site/template personally). Basically I'd like that: When a registered customer goes to checkout, the system should check if he already submitted an order in the past and consider all previous checkout choices (payment method, shipping address, etc.) as default, skipping directly on final confirmation page (providing a summary and the possibility to modify choices). If it is the first order for the customer, usual standard checkout process will be done. Work required as vqmod script. No admin settings or database changes should be necessary, just a script to be uploaded in vqmod/xml folder to add this little "checkout memory" feature. Please also specify license of usage for this piece of software.
