The goal of this project is to create a web page where a person could drag-and-drop elements to create a dynamic form layout. The user interface should: 1) Allow drag and drop of form elements 2) Allow reordering of form elements 3) Allow the user to name fields and set preferences for each field (e.g., required, check boxes, radios, etc.) 4) Communicate with a .php script via AJAX to save form data (XML? JSON?) 5) Communicate with a .php script to load saved form data for future editing. All code should be well-commented and documented where possible. Backend database connectivity is not required, but an example of how the form layout could be saved would be helpful.
