i have 2 spreadsheets with about 100-150 records. would like to create a 3-tier set of dynamic drop down menu on a webpage to search for results from these records. i.e. in menu 1, if user selects "Fruits", then menu B will populate with fruit types, and if user selects "Apples" then menu C will populate with names of type of apples, then upon submit, the page will display one or more pieces of information relating to the type of apple selected. you can choose whichever method you are comfortable with. For the number of records, can this be done without a database? If you need a database, the records can be loaded onto a mySQL database. because there are 2 sets of data, will need 2 sets of drop-down menus. but the functionality is the same so the code will be mostly re-usable. Need quick turnaround for this project. Any questions, please ask. Thank you. -------------BONUS OR SEPARATE TASK (posted as a second project) Eventually this page will have to either be embedded within or linked to a WordPress site where i do not have access to the actual hosting control panel. if your solution can be easily added to a wordpress site just from the wp-admin page, that's a bonus, will post that task as a second project.
