There is a LAMP application. Users can sign up, login etc. A user can buy minute. All this is already done. Now, on the site, the user want to view a movie. To watch a movie, he has to pay per minute. For every minute he views, its required that the LAMP-app is informed that the user has viewed one minute.
The server is a windows 2003 standard edition. The movies are in wmf.
This project is about implementing the logic needed on the server side (the windows media services) and maybe on the client side (the windows media player itself) and that will make it possible to communicate with the LAMP application. The LAMP or the wms-app has to have full control about whats going on on the client, and stop the streaming if the minutes are over.
The movies have to be streamed to the users. No http or progressive download. This project is also about setting up the streaming server.
