Internet Hotspot Management System

User plugs their pc into an Ethernet socket or accesses the network through wireless Upon opening a browser window and requesting an internet address they will be redirected to a local hotspot web page. This web page can be customised for each venue to allow all/any of the following -Custom title text, logo, etc -Access internet through pre-paid voucher -Access internet through online credit card payment -Free internet access to specified URLs -Links to additional pages If the user requests to pay via credit card, they will be directed to a secure server e.g. worldpay where they can input their card details and choose an access period. On successful entry, they will be provided with an access code The customer will enter their unique access code (from voucher or card payment system) and tick a box that they have read and accepted the terms and conditions The local hotspot system will then check against the central management server to ensure the access code is valid AND that it can be used at the specific venue. Some venues will allow access for all access codes while some may restrict it to access codes purchased at their venue. All access codes, venue ID’s and relationships/permissions will be preloaded on to the central server Upon successful authentication the customer will be able to access the internet for a predetermined amount of time and receive a popup browser window informing them of their successful connection 10 minutes (configurable) before the expiry time a popup window will appear on the customers PC allowing them to enter a new access code to extend their time. This window will remain until the customer chooses to close it. If a new access code is entered and approved the connectivity will be seamlessly extended Once the time limit has been reached, the connection will be dropped and a configurable screen will be displayed to the user The user may choose to logoff by typing logoff in the URL address bar. Although they will be disconnected and need to re-enter their access code, the time period will continue to expire Access to other services eg email will not be permitted until the user has registered Access/venue codes and permissions/relationships can be added/loaded/deleted from the central server Access codes must be able to be given an expiration date on the central server ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
