As it stands, we are specifically a video sharing website, allowing users to upload, embed and view videos via an HTML5 browser based video player. We now want to shift towards creating a community playground for enthusiasts and professionals alike to share their content, and more than that, to contribute to Forums, Polls and discussions. Ideally we would like to integrate a points / rewards system so that top contributors can be raked according to the quality of their content uploaded to our site. (The should be a youtube like website that can convert a variety of videos for HTML5 playback). Design: o We do not need any Logo concepts as we are happy with our present logo o We really like the "BBC Iplayer" layout and would like something similar. Core Network: o User Registration, Dashboard and Profiles o Private Message Threads o Friends List o Online Now o Basic Privacy Settings o Advanced Status Feed o Email Notifications o Search: Keyword o Instant messaging o E-Blast email tool o Rating / Reward System Multimedia: o We would only need one blog & comments for the site o YouTube - See above. Community: o Forums o Groups o Directory Social Media Integration: o Facebook Login o Social Bookmarking Widget Integration Content Management: o We would like you to develop the CMS that will handle the video uploading, transcoding and placement of videos into pages. o We will develop the HTML5 video player that will ultimately be integrated into the CMS that you create to allow playback in the browser. o We already have about 200 videos that will need to be added into the site. Development Flex Time: o Please can you quote how many hours you believe the creation of a YouTube like CMS that will be able to process a variety of different format videos for in browser HTML5 playback (with a player that I will create).
