I have a calendar.
I am currently displaying the calendar in my VB template via an iframe - [login to view URL] The calendar is actually from here - [login to view URL] which is free to download, so you can have a look at the code.
Anyhow I want to intergrate this so that in ONE forum i.e my events forum that when users create a new thread they have the option to be able to post this to the calendar.
I want this to be done where normally you would select a prefix if prefix's were enabled, to have drop down menus along side that. So if a date is entered using the drop down menus then that event gets posted to the calendar on that date. If no date is selected the thread is posted as a normal thread.
The events which get posted to the calendar, when viewing in the calendar should just show the thread title, and be clickable, when clicked they take you to the thread in the events forum.
I also need some way of assigning which threads are being posted by which usergroup.
I.e I need admins to be able to define when posting an event thread that the event is either one of our own or just an event (i.e not held by us). Registered users should only be able to list events as in not held by us.
This is because I currently have a script which pulls all the events from a vbulletin calendar ID (admin only access) and displays them in various formats - [login to view URL], [login to view URL] and I also have a page which allows me to edit them etc.
This script will need to be updated to work with the new calendar.
It sounds really complicated but in reality it's probably not. I have all the pages and scripts in place, they just need linking up together to work and adapting slightly. The biggest thing probably being getting threads to post to the calendar.
If who ever I take on can do ALL of the above, I may have some extra work such as widgets/blocks that I may need to do with the above and some jazzing up of how my pulled event data is displayed.

Please PM with your idea on how to get it to work, and how much. I am looking for a reliable, affordable coder to keep coming back to.
DO NOT JUST BID WITH A LIST OF WEBSITES THAT YOU'VE WORKED ON. I ONLY WANT TO REVIEW WORK WHICH IS RELEVANT TO WHAT I AM ASKING HERE.
I also need someone to start asap.
