Program to establish communication with either a web service or a counterpart program running on our customer's server. We have developed an application in C# and need to present data from SQL tables to users. This data will be created by our application. Our application will have a web service available to communicate with it, however our application will also place all the resulting data (report data) in tables in a MS SQL database. All this data will be available for users of the program to be developed by you. Program should be installable in user's computer and establish a secure and encrypted communication with either the web service of our C# application (called BControl) or an additional program designed by you running on our customer's server. You would end up developing a client and a server portions of the program. On the server portion of the program we would define the users and you would build the security structures needed to make the communications with the client program safe. Security should not be limited only to user name and password. a) The client program will present a list of possible data sets that would be available. There are 19 reports (data sets) that will be available in the SQL tables. Client application will allow users to view such data, create a report and export the data in CSV, Excel or .TXT format. b) Program should be developed in either .NET or C#. We develop in C#, so would like something in the same family. c) Both programs (CLient and Server) most have labels and screen names in English and Japanese. We can help with the translation if you encounter problems. d) We have thought about a web based application or a standalone client/server application. We would like to listen to your suggestion. We believe that for security reasons the client/server could be better. e) The entire program (client side) should not have more than 3 pages (screens). The main purpose of the program is to allow users to run the reports and export the data. f) Based on information received by the server portion of the program, coming from BControl via the web service, the client will indicate that certain data is ready to be reported on. g) Program should be esthetically appealing. In other words, it must look good, as this program has to cause a good impression on client
