Wordpress Plugin - GEO User Search This project is to create a Wordpress plugin for storing UK GEO locations agains users and then providing a custom search facility via Postcode & Town within a certain area. You must be able to show examples of GEO searches you have written. 1.. We have a number of users with custom data stored in the wp_usermeta table and these are updateable via Wordpress frontent for logged in users. This is achieved via the User Meta plugin. 2.. We store a custom “training class” address for users who hold courses (“instructors”) and would like to store GEO loctions (longitude/latitude) for these users. The GEO locations must be automatically stored on save if the user is an instructor and has entered a class address. 3.. The Postcode and Town searches will be available to all users on the front end of Wordpress and these searches will work in a very simple manner. The user would enter their Postcode or Town and also select a distance (25,50,100 or unlimited distance and all instructors would be found within x miles of the PostCode/Town entered. The default distance should be set to 50 though we may need to change this. The information returned should show the nearest instructors first and will include such data as Name and instructor details and a link to their full profile which will include a map of their class address with a location pin + other details from the wp_usermeta table for this user. Country and class type are not required though we may require country at a later stage. The theme being used is Enfold with Woocommerce. We presume that you will use the latest Google API but if not we will need to know what you plan to use before the project starts. I can provide full access to a dummy test site so that you can see both the frontend and backend.
