Website Dev Project (Standard)

We are building a new website for our business. IN summary, it will be about 25 to 30 pages in total using basic code, have no sophisticated applications/software, no ecommerce, but will need to "talk to" another website via link. We have all copy and design prepared. We need a developer to assess a current website to determine if some of its components are a feasible base to work from to create a new but similar type of website OR if it is better to create an entirely new site. The developer will be responsible for working with and taking direction from the Architect to ensure that the site gets created (as per below - see further details). Note: On a scale of 1 to 10 level of difficulty, this is project will require one with depth of knowledge, ranking about 7 or greater on that scale. Although no intricate programming required, a very deep understanding of W3C compliant code such as HTML, Flash, CSS, Java script, etc. is a must. NO JUNIOR/ENTRY LEVEL developers please. The developer will be responsible for working with the Architect to ensure that the site gets created as per below: ? SEO Compliant - Create a SEO compliant architecture and site where every page template will have the ability to be optimized to a very granular level for search engine crawlers. Specific direction for strategy, directories, naming conventions , graphics, etc. to be provided by architect. ? Layout - Wireframes will be proved with site layout, navigation, hierarchy, tags, various page templates, copy, promotions, functions, creative design, etc. will be provided by site architect and implemented by developer as directed. Site to templates are to be designed in a modular fashion where parts of the template can be easily updated or changes (switching banners, promotions, article/blog headlines, social links, etc.) in a widget type fashion. ? Creative Design - All creative to be provided by a graphic designer such as site look and feel, style guide, graphics, banners, etc. and will be implemented by developer as directed by architect. ? User Interface - Create and develop the user interface will optimal application of CSS, HTML, JS, etc. and other UI code in a logical fashion where pages load quickly and render properly. Where applicable, server side include files should be used to facilitate changes and updates for areas like navigation, promotions, banners, dynamic content. etc. All code should be commented well so that its purpose and function are easily understood. The majority of the site should be able to be maintained and updated by a lower level developer. ? Development and Database - The site will have Forms and Dynamic Content components. Forms will be used to capture user data. The details will be laid out in Wireframes. The site will also will have dynamic components and pages where copy can be added and formatted via an Admin Interface. Dynamic content includes things like articles, tips, testimonials, etc. All dynamic pages are to be SEO compliant with the ability to name page elements and tags as desired. Database tables and elements are to be created in a logical manner where data can be easily extracted at a granular level for analysis. Details for the Admin Interface and the site pages/components to be provide in the Wireframes. ? Blog - The site will have a blogging component via software such as WordPress that needs to be setup and configured and so that it is as seamless as possible with the rest of the site and is SEO compliant. Any design elements will be created and supplied by Graphic Designer. ? Hosting and Server Configuration - The developer to be responsible for setting up and configuring the site in the hosting environment. This includes file directories, databases, security, software setup, server errors domain names, redirects, backups, error pages, access files, crawl files, etc. ? Google Webmaster - Developer should be well versed in Google Webmaster guidelines, best practices and tools and all work done should be Google Webmaster compliant. ? QA Testing - QA Testing will completed by Architect and other team members. Developer should ensure that the site is functioning and rendering according to plan to the best of their ability before QA Testing starts.
