SuiteCRM module building

Hi, With more than 5 years of experience in SugarCRM setup and customization. We have serve lots of companies from different sectors to fit their business logic in open source [login to view URL] of those sectors include Finance, Universities, Publishers, Cosmetic Retail Chain, Renewable Energy and many more We have worked on versions of sugarcrm (CE, Professional, Enterprise). Including tasks related to creation of new modules, adding new fields, creating logic hooks, reports, web-to-lead forms, workflows, schedulers, upgrade version and data migration from other CRM. Recently worked on 2 projects based on SuiteCRM. As per your details I can create this new module and create required reports. Regarding duration for Targets my suggestion is to use Month-Year pair in place of date range to simplify calculations and resulting reports. And in case you need to go with date range, can you provide a sample of Bar Chart report; how it will look? Also suiteCRM default reporting module may not support these type of reports so we may need some third party module or create custom coded report. Thanks, Ashish

Hi There, I have extensive Suite and Sugar CRM Experience. I have customized a Suite Site for a Solar Installation Business in Ireland (working on Phase 2 Now, finished in 3 days), a Security Screen Installation Business in Sydney and a Financial Planner in Perth, to name a few. I specialize in Custom Modules and Innovative approaches. With your project, Creating the Target Module and Report List is relative straight forward, the Graphing will need to be done via a Custom Graph dashlet, or a third party Google Charts in an IFrame. I need some more info before determining the best approach, but I would lean towards the Google Charts solution in an IFrame in the Module. The graphing is relatively complicated, depending on the questions below. I would develop this on my own Suite CRM Demo System for you to see, then transfer the developed system to you system to minimize impact on your production environment. This would be done vial the module loader, but access to the server root via ssh will also be needed for teh custom code that would go with it. Questions: 1. Calculating the quotas, targets, Won Opportunities can be done in two ways, a nightly run that stored in the database, or in real time when the module is loaded. The real time option will induce quite a bit of server load, depending on the amount of data, but allows the most flexibility and I would recommend it Best regards Mark Cupitt
