We have obtained a small software package (PHP, MySQL). The project is a LIMS/APLIS, but you don't necessarily need a medical background to work on this. We wish to convert the initial codebase into an open source project, but before we can do this we need some refactoring. The project currently has a user interface in Romanian. We wish to extend the interface so that the user has the option to select from English or Romanian. The Romanian interface should exist next to the English interface. Once the UI is available in English, we can open this up to a global community of (medical) software developers. Ideally, you can integrate a multi-lingual UI framework into this project, with a central dictionary where we can track localized resource-strings, as well as add additional languages (including Unicode) going forward.
