We require a mobile and desktop solution that will harness data received in the field, then synchronize the data to a laptop / pc where it will be imprinted onto a customized form. ## Deliverables Use the handheld scanner to record inspection data needed to generate an inspection report. The handheld inspection app should allow you to record the inspection data in an efficient manner, then synchronize the data to a laptop/PC. The handheld application will support barcode scanning data entry where applicable, and will support manual entry in case the barcode is unreadable or unavailable. Allow you to enter inspection data on the PC/laptop directly, without the handheld, if needed. The laptop/PC application will generate a report for the customer in PDF format according to their report specifications (we can supply the forms). Future application will be able to enable you to post your inspection report PDF documents online in a password protected location so that customers can download the PDF to their computer. You will be able to post multiple PDF documents in each customer's folder, so that historical reports can be archived there. Perform a lookup of failure codes on the handheld to get a description of the failure (you will need to supply us with a list of the failure codes and descriptions in electronic format such as Excel). The development tasks include three distinct sections: (1) development of the handheld data capture & code lookup application; (2) development of the laptop/PC sync application; (3) development of report formats.
