Reminder Web Script

We are looking for someone to write a Perl or PHP script with MySQL backend to track units and to notify customers of when their units will need servicing. The purpose of this software is to track units which our customers buy from us (or already have) so they can keep track of all their units and keep track of when they will need to be serviced. The software is going to be specifically designed to track units by their serial numbers so that the customer is able to quickly see what units they have in what locations and how old the batteries are in each unit, etc. From that information, we want to give the customer the option to either receive automatic emails or snail mail reminders when their UPS units need new batteries. The attached file details what we are looking for. If your bid is accepted, it is the total amount we will pay for the descripted program – you are bidding on doing this amount of work for this price. We may elect to have other work done or add-ons, but a price for additional work must be negotiated and agreed by us before any work is done. Please submit past work / portfolio and which language you will use.
