Section dividing of our Oscommerce Shop and more…

Hi. We are running a live-shop on its fifth year. The shop is a highly modified Oscommerce MS 2.2. The shops language is Danish, but that shouldn’t be a problem for you in this task. The following things are wanted in this project: Tab-divided shop - this should be the hardest part of your assignment. The wish is to divide the shop into 4 “shops”, sharing the same basket and domain. This is wanted because we now sell DVDs, Music, Erotic Movies and Blu-Ray. The wish is, that the shop offers all those products on one domain, but that the product from the different categories doesn’t interfere. E.g. when shopping DVDs there won’t come up a Blu-ray movie in the “Special” or “Top 10” field. Also Banners must be specific for the chosen Tab. The task includes changing the Menu so that there is room for the Tabs, and making a dynamic overall-font-page, showing selected products from the four main categories (showing as store/domain front-page). As it is now, Music, Blu-Ray and Erotic’s has its own category. DVDs is divided into several category-IDs. After you are finished, each of the Tabs should be able to have several category-IDs assigned. The Search function, should be only for the tab the customer currently is on, BUT with the option to select one or all of the other tabs to be included in the search. See the file “[login to view URL]” for how it is now, and “[login to view URL]” for witch field is wished to be dependent on the selected section. Easy Trailer - as it is a DVD-store, it would be nice to be able to show trailers to our customers. We want a easy way to insert trailers to the product description, my thought is a text field where we can insert the embed code (in the admin -> product-text). Newsletter - the module installed is not working. The “new” newsletter module must have the following specs: 1. Template based: when making a newsletter, it can be done from a template. 2. Easy product add: products are easily added to the newsletter. 3. Sending options: To all customers, or only to newsletter recipients About YOU: We expect that you can deliver what is mention above, and that you will do your best to do the task in the promised time. The payment will first be made, when the product is delivered. We also expect that you can make yourself understandable in English. Important note: As we are running a professional live-shop, you will be doing the coding and testing on a clone, provided by us. After testing your work, we will make the “real” update our self. Therefore, you must by the completion of your work provide all the files that have been changed, and provide an “insert-script” for the SQL if there has been made changes there. Just like the Contributions found on oscommerce.com. Of cause we expect all the other current functions of the shop to still be working after you have completed your task.
