This site was started already by a developer who did not finish the project. Please include your bid and time to complete in your responses We have some code to some of the modules of the site. The modules that we have code for your review are marked (Code provided). You do not have to use the provided code but it is at your discretion. Code for the email module will need to be used though. This site will be a community site for a group of (9) organizations. Each organization is comprised of chapters. • Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Founded 1906, Cornell University • Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Founded 1908, Howard University • Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Founded 1911, Indiana University • Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Founded 1911, Howard University • Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Founded 1913, Howard University • Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Founded 1914, Howard University • Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Founded 1920, Howard University • Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Founded 1922, Butler University • Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Founded 1963, Morgan State University You must register to access the site. Registering is free but the site will have paid members and free members only allowing certain features to nonpaying members. The entire site components are as follows: Sign up- will collect some user data as members have to verify that they are members of one of the nine organizations. If user is not a member of the nine organizations then he will not be able to join. Sign up form information will be provided. Site will notify administrator when new members sign up. Non Paid members will only upload 1 photo for profile. **Paid members User profiles will also have the ability to add photo galleries to their profile page. Business listing and Profile- only members will be able to list their business and professional service along with a brief profile about their business. Option to upload logo or image. These will be divided by categories by profession. Code provided- We have the email module already it just needs to be integrated into the site, and the signup features added. 1. The user will select the organization they are affiliated with 2. Then user will select a domain from provided list of available domains for that organization 3. User will select an address and system will verify address is available 4. System will create account This module will allow paid members to select from about 30 domains to create an email account from. This module needs to create an account for the paid user and when the user logs into the site the will have access to the account created just like Yahoo, AOL, EarthLink ect. . Greeting Cards-paid members will be able to view and send the custom greeting cards. non members will only be able to view the greeting cards. This module should function like most greeting card systems with admin area to add cards, categories and sub categories. Select sound to play with card etc. Also must have reminder system built in for user to be reminded about, birthday dates, anniversaries, holidays, etc. and the ability to send invitations. Address book as well. Invitations need to be able to be sent to a specific member, an entire chapter or an entire organization once. Members will be able to create their own private chat room for other members to join as well to be listed with the other chartrooms under their own sub heading. This is account is not automatically created at the time of membership it has to be chosen. When this account is created user information will be collected for the hosting account. After completed the user will be directed to a page where the user will be able to select the files to be uploaded to the subdirectory for hosting. Automatically a guestbook should be installed to the sub domain and instructions as far as the url to access the guestbook and url for admin of the guest book should be displayed and emailed to the users email account. The guest book should allow the user to change color schemes. Nonmembers can view the sub domain site websites and have access to read and post to guest books. Note the sub domain hosted sites should have a banner at the top like the grey navigation strip at the top of [login to view URL] where links back to the site will be so that users that go directly to the sub domain hosted site by typing the url directly can be directed back to the main site. Poetry and Chants – Here members only will be able to upload poetry and chants by categories and sub categories. (possibly would like to have the option for the member to record their poetry or chant to a file that can be played from the site) Advertisement management system – this will be able to manage and track advertisements on the site along with billing of such advertisements.
