Chinese Speaking Web Designer to create Website Our business is a bilingual service and we are now opening a website aimed at people in the PRC. We seek a brilliant Web Designer who is very comfortable writing and designing graphics (original illustrations created for this project) etc. in Chinese to help us create a site of about 8-10 pages. Graphics should be designed or editable in Illustrator. This proposal is for every aspect of a website including graphics which must be created for this job ??" i.e ORIGINAL. The job may also include some simple interactivity using Javascript for forms and data collection (a “contact us?? form, for instance). We don’t generally use stock photos (although some use of them is ok if you have them and your style is tasteful). We will provide you with English text ??" the site will be in both English and Chinese, side by side ??" and you will translate this and create appropriate graphics. We will also give you our logo from our general site, and some graphics from that site, and you will create a look and feel that is hip among Chinese webusers. Please be a native speaker and writer or equivalent! We will be responsive to your questions and look forward to working with you! :O) Three important aspects: 1) Please note the deadline. 2) The designer we work with on this project has an excellent opportunity for regular assignments from us. 3) This project will be entered into subject to a strict Confidentiality and Noncompete Agreement enforceable worldwide to be interpreted under the laws of Beijing, PRC and of New York, NY, USA. ## Deliverables 1) Original graphics and HTML for bilingual website. Graphics MUST NOT BE stock art and must be ORIGINAL FOR THIS SITE (some use of stock art is acceptable under the terms of the description above, but designer must use royalty-free art). 2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. 3) Graphics must be delivered in both web and EDITABLE - i.e. Illustrator - form. ## Platform We have a strong preference that all illustrations be done in ILLUSTRATOR 9 or above. Stylesheet must be used as well as hand-coded (i.e. no Frontpage,pls) HTML. ## Deadline information Please be a native speaker and writer of Chinese!
