Web Page Parser and RSS File Generator

Note: I've reopened this after revising the Description and adding screen mock-ups of the application. The purpose of this script is to dynamically create a “List?? from a static web page. A "List" consists of 2 or more similarly formatted links. The examples of “Lists?? found on web pages are groups of menu items and headlines. If there is more than one List then the script must identify and display all of the available Lists on the page and ask the user to select one of the Lists. Once the List is selected, the script must parse the web page for the selected List, write the List to an XML RSS .91 file and save the rules for creating the RSS file to a MySQL database. The most common use for this application will be to scrape headlines from “static?? web pages and create an RSS file for others to use in an RSS News aggregator. In addition, Admin screens must be written to maintain the database of Lists. I’m not a programmer, so please use best practices for coding web forms and use error handling and messages that are appropriate. See attached file for more details including mock-ups of screens. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform php, mysql, web browser, cross platform
