**Description:** The project is to create an online document management system in which a document is created by typing on the text-pad of a web browser. The content on the text pad is saved in an XML file and user (student) can give the file name. The file is saved in XML format with ‘control&' information [user name, creation date, creation time] and document content. Example: Text-pad: Wallabies going to win the match. The content is extracted from the XML file and displayed on the text-pad on the web browser. Teacher can make the changes but changes are recorded with the separate color (or font) to distinguish from the student user. Every change in the content is ‘tagged&' by the tag. The project provides the same functionality as of ‘tracking changes&' option in the MS word 2000. (Cntl-shft-E). Recommended technologies includes but not limited to ASP, Java Script, XML, HTML etc. Ideally 2 web pages are needed to be developed. 1) Logon on page. 2) Editor page with text box (for entering document name) and text pad (for typing the document content) Due to the acute shortage of available time to meet a close deadline, developer is expected to take decision regarding the designing and development issues. ## Deliverables **Deliverables: **1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
