Direct Power and Water Corp. is a manufacturer of various types of mounting structures to support photovoltaic modules. We also manufacture enclosures to house various manufacturers’ batteries. This project involves creating an Excel/Visual Basic program that will lookup the price based on the user’s input. The program will then return that price and the associated part # to order. Our intent is to have a program interface that is very “clean?? in a user friendly format that doesn’t look or feel like Excel. Drop down lists are to be provided for the user to select the module manufacturer, model and the mounting structure type.
We will create the database for the different variables and the programmer is to provide the cell range names to be used for the database. We may work together to provide portions of the database in the programmer’s preferred format.
Variables include solar module manufacturers, manufacturer’s model numbers, mounting structure types and the quantity of solar modules to be mounted on those mounting structure(s). We manufacture about eight different types of structures that hold between 1 and 24 modules.
For our battery enclosures the variables include the battery manufacturer, model number and the number of batteries to be housed in the enclosure.

(No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Program is to run on Microsoft Excel 1998 and newer versions.
