We have data in foxpro tables that gives us the current on hand quantity and price for our items. We need a report that will give us the quantity and price for an arbitrary date in the past. I have included a sample table that contains the current on hand quantities and prices ([login to view URL]).
I would like to be able to put in a date and the software would back out all the transactions quantities that are in our transaction tables ([login to view URL] and [login to view URL]) as well as getting the item pricing as it was on the date selected.
For the end report I’d like groupings and subtotals by (in this order)
Location, item class
As well as a grand total
The applicable tables you will want to look at are
ICILOC:
Loctid (location code)
Lonhand (this is the original amount on hand)
ICItran and ICYtran:
Loctid (location code)
Item (item code)
Tdate (transaction date)
Tqty (transaction quantity)
Applid (used for filtering)
ICItem (joined to ICItran, ICYtran and ICILOC)
Item (item code)
Itmdesc (item description)
Itmclss (item class, used for filters)
I’d prefer the front end and report portion to be web based or something else that makes it multi-user enabled.
Let me know if you have any questions
