Find Out Why My Site Is Slow and Speed It Up

My website is running slower than it should be. I'm running Wordpress v2.23 and have a lot of traffic coming into my site, about 2000 unique per day. I'm using about 15 plugins, one of which should make the site FASTER (wp-cache plugin). However, it seems to take about 7 or 8 seconds for each page to load. The graphics are not intensive, and I just can't figure out what the problem is. I'm using the same host as I use for all of my other websites, yet this one seems to be slower. Could it be this specific shared server? Coder will run tests, repair problem, and report findings in a .doc file for me to review. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
