PostgreSQL server side programing + (extending SQL with user defined C functions)

A PostgreSQL server programmer is required to complete a project on adding new custom C functions to PostgreSQL (version 7.4.6). You will need excellent (and proven) skills in PostgreSQL server side programming: user-defined functions, user-defined aggregates, C-language functions and PL/PgSQL. I am a C/C++ developer with a library of functions written in ANSI C, that I want to expose to PostgreSQL as user-defined aggregates and user-defined functions. The PostgreSQL wrapper code has been largely written already (using Calling Conventions Version 1 for C-Language Functions), but it needs to be completed and FULLY tested. I need an experienced PostsgreSQL server programmer to complete the project. It should take less than 3 days to complete the wrapper code and fully test it for an experienced PostgreSQL server programmer. Zeta2_reticulli ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete, well commented source code of all work done. 2) A little instruction guide explaining what has been done and how to use/maintain the application, and also pointing out any "gotchas" -i.e. things that may go wrong or potential loopholes or single points of failure in the system - how to avoid falling into those traps, how to recover from an error caused by a "gotcha". 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform PostgreSQL 7.4.6 Linux Redhat 8.0 and above
