I need the attached Java code faster. It runs 4 million rounds and takes about 50 seconds on my machine. It is a Bigram, Trigram, and Levenshtein fuzzy logic string comparison. It is okay if you give me back the routine in a different program language like C or C++. But I need to be able to use the two classes (QGram and Levenshtein) from Java as the main project is going to be Java.
## Deliverables
I also need the source code and I need to be able to maintain the source code. I am working under NetBeans 6.7 and I am working on Linux. You must expect that you need to give me guidance on how to call the optimized routine from Java and how to build my project in NetBeans. Best would be if you give me back a ready made NetBeans project. I am a programmer since 25 years but I am relatively new to Java and NetBeans and Linux.
It still needs to be a quite independent programming language as I might need to roll out the project on different operating systems. It could be Windows it is however more likely to be a Unix system. In case you want to make it in Assembler then the requirement clearly is that it must work under different processors which are industry standard.
