HI,
We're looking to create a "Registration System" that would read data from a Drivers License. The program would be required to colloect the following information:
-First Name
-Middle Name
-Last Name
-Address 1
-Address 2
-City
-State
-Zip
-Age
-Driver License Number
If you know anything about collecting data from a drivers license, you will know that not all states will be compatible with this system. About 45 out of the 50 states now have a Magnetic Stripe or 2D Barcode. However, only about 30-35 states actually have all the information that we need to collect. We are looking at maybe using an SDK Component from <[login to view URL]> They seem to have a lot of experiance collecting data from driver licenses.
We are looking for a programmer who can develop a nice touch screen interface which would intergrate a Card Reader (Magnetic Stripe & 2D Barcode). When the card is swiped it will automatically input the data in the fields. Also, we will have a box for the user to "sign there name".
The file then needs to have the ability to export, so that the business's can create mailing labels, etc.
Please give me feedback on this bid. What technologies would you use? How much time it would take to develop. Please show me any examples of other touch screen applications that you have created in the past. Thanks,
Matt
