This is a Quick Fix for you guys. We have a database that will be a directory of businesses listed by state>county>city etc.. We have a search page that we need fixed.
1. Search by Business Category (dynamically filled by current categories - pull down) and State (hard coded pull down)
This section almost works - the pull down menu and "search in category" fills itself with the current categories but the state pull down, that was added, does not limit the search to that state, so all of the business show up. Needs to be fixed.
2. Search by Map (Select State) currently pulls up all businesses in state. Needs to pull up (Dynamic list of Counties in State selected) then Pull up Dynamic list of Cities. Then list of business categories to be selected and result in a final listing.
This search pulls up all of the businesses in the state selected, it needs to drill down into County>City>Business Category. It starts as a graphic of the US and from there can be dynamic links that fill the page in 4 columns in alpha (order)
3. Search by Hyper search - This section works fine (it is at the bottom of the page) ( a good place to go to see final results page)
The Hyper search works perfect and is the most efficient way to narrow the search but because we want people to browse, we want to give them a way to look through the directory using all three searches. (This search can be used as a reference)
Thank you,
