Scan The World is a growing digital archive of sculptures using 3D Scanning and Printing technologies. [login to view URL] We are looking to hire freelancers from around the world to photograph at least 70 sculptures at their local gallery to contribute to our growing archive. This job entails you photographing the sculptures 50-60 times 'scanning' from as many angles as possible. Walk around the sculpture, photographing every couple of steps. Photograph the whole sculpture in shot and then a few detail shots of finer details. You can read the exhaustive tutorial here [login to view URL] No special lenses or fancy equipment is required. This is open to anyone around the world! We look forward to scanning with you.

Good day, Looks interesting. I am a keen photographer with a portfolio of about 6000 images. Very few sculptures and none from so many angles. I do travel quite frequently in South Africa and can certainly capture a few images when the opportunity arises. We have several sculptures outdoors, eg at the Union Buildings, parliament etc. Would some of these be of interest? Are you looking for a specific theme ? Or only those of historical value?
