Write an iPhone application

I would like to develop an education app teaching core concepts and exam techniques through simple text based screens and test knowledge through MCQs and exam questions, giving step by step detailed solutions. A full detailed and transparent detailed specification is as follows. The app has logical but simple requirements. Optional items are desired but not required. Please quote for iPhone app and iPad app separately. This app is for one course from series of courses. Detailed specifications 1. Table of contents with hyperlinks to Modules. 2. The app content will be simple text, formatted with colour/italic/underline for emphasis. Content will also include very simple diagrams, mainly timelines. 3. App will have an Introduction page. 4. App will be structured in Modules/Chapters. Each Module will be broken down into Core Concepts. App will teach a student through Core Concepts screens. Navigation with in a Core Concept will be through simple "Next" and "Back" buttons. 5. Each Core Concept will have its own unique ID (any sort of IDs will not be shown to student but it is for my control), which will be used to measure student's progress (see below). 6. Some Core Concepts will be linked to other Core Concepts with in same Module or other Modules through hyperlinks. 7. Each Core Concept will include Learning Text (2-5 screens), a few MCQs (2-5 screens) and one or two Exam Questions with detailed solutions (2-5 screens). Expected number of Core Concepts are 30-40. 8. A separate MCQ section to test Core Concepts. 9. A separate "Question Bank" to test knowledge using actual exam format. Solution to exam questions will be presented in step by step walkthrough with option given to student to mark his answer as "Correct" or "Incorrect" at each step. The option chosen by student at each step will be used to identify student's weakness. Each step of solution will be linked (in the background) to a Core Concept using Core Concept IDs. At the end of solution, using the options chosen by student, an analytical engine will calculate and made recommendations for further practice. I will provide the logic. 10. As alternative to step by step solution to question, student will also be given an option to reveal full detailed solution at once. Student will still be asked to mark his final answer as "Correct" or "Incorrect" at the end. This will be used by analytical engine, using a different logic, to make further practice recommendation. 11. Each Exam Question will have its unique ID. 12. A timer will be displayed on question screen to help student track his time performance. Colour of time will change from green to red when the maximum time allocated for the question is overdue. 13. Question Bank practice will be offered under three options, i) Full 3 hour exam under exam conditions. Each exam will be based on a past paper. Student will have an option from drop down to select a past exam from the database of 16 past exams, ii) Question practice for one or more Core Concepts. Student will be given a drop down list of Core Concepts to select practice question, and iii) Random selection from Question Bank. 14. Optional: Track how many times student has tried a question. 15. Optional: Track how much time (minutes/hours) student has spent on a Core Concept / Module. 16. "Watch List" feature to bookmark Core Concepts or Questions which student wants to come back. 17. Social media (Facebook & Twitter) sharing to promote app. 18. Optional: Note taking feature showing at which Core Concept or Question the note was taken. 19. Portrait view for iPhone & Android phones. Landscape view for iPad and Android tablets. Other Considerations: • App will have a free version consisting of 3 Modules, a limited MCQ section and a limited Question Bank. • Full version will be paid. • App will be initially developed for iPhone and subsequently developed for iPad. • Once Apple versions are created, app will be developed for Android.
