Mobile Chat and Match Application

Development summary Prepare the groundwork for the development of an Android Chat and Dating application with integration with firebase.google.com. The Design should be based on Google material design and maintaining compatibility to Android 4.1x with an added color palette and logo. The core function is presenting a list of potential matching profiles based on gender, age, user information and interest and the shortest distance based on geo location stored in the backend in Firebase. Mutually linked users will enable chat communication between the respective users. The App development should include following Firebase features; Analytics • Analytics of events in the App Develop • Authentication for Google, Facebook and password based accounts • Cloud messaging for chat messages and matches. • Realtime Database for storage of profiles, matches and chats and other system required entities. • Storage for profile images • Crash reporting for reporting of eventual crashes Grow • Notifications for push notifications as new message and matches when inactive. • Invites for users to invite other to use app. In addition to Firebase core features using the open source location based service Firebase GeoFire 2.0 for the distance calculation between users. This project will only include: • Backend development • Web Admin panel development • User interface delivered by PSD All other tasks described in Specification and in this description will be deferred to a later stage. The Specification document will be sent to specific bidders. Bid's including information on how to proceed on the project will be favored for bid approval and people with experience in the backend Firebase will be preferred.
