Due Dates,
Progress report 1: Feb 24, 2016
Progress report 2: March 10, 2016
Final report: April 18, 2016
Requirements:
Create an image filtering app with at least three filters that in real-time applies an interesting (non-linear) filter to the stream of images. For instance, you could apply a cartooning effect, as in this project on real-time video abstraction [login to view URL]
You can use libraries and functions that already there but you must have at least two filters that implanted completely by you.
Here is a good example for complete implementation of cartoon like algorithm:

Design a GUI for the app like the one in this video [login to view URL]
Or something simpler like this [login to view URL] it is prefer to have before/after results.
Progress Reports
You will turn in 1-2 page progress reports on the dates they are due. This report should present your progress to date, including preliminary results, as well as any problems that you are encountering. Give any references you have found and have been using as well as any libraries. Also give any progress in implementing your project and how much you have implemented.
Progress report 1: Feb 24, 2016
Progress report 2: March 10, 2016
Final Report
Turn in a written report describing your problem and approach, and any results. This report should be in the form of a technical report and should include the following sections:
• Title
• Introduction
• Literature survey on the topic: related work, with references to papers, web pages
• Technical description of your project including algorithms
• Experimental results: clearly describe the details of your experimental setup and how you obtain your results. Give some example results.
• Discussion of results, strengths/weaknesses, what worked, what didn't
• Conclusions and future work and what you would do if you had more time
Code
In addition to the report, you will be turning in the code associated with the project.
