What does the client currently have? Not, much. It's mostly a B2B business and only one (1) business card syle exists.

What is the line of business?
"The company works with corporate design groups to prototype, engineer and manufacture high quality custom wood and laminate retail fixtures, sales counters, stylized props and custom cabinetry. During its fifteen year history, the company manufactured all of the wood and laminate fixtures, sales counters and walls for 150 retail stores in North America.

The company's management team is traditional and conservative in its approach to market the company's products. However, it realizes that it needs to set itself apart from the competition. The company clearly wants to go the more contemporary route when it comes to the implementation of its new media and print needs.
The new logo type should be "timeless" and "simplistic", but somewhat contemporary/modern. It should reflect and establish a relationship between the Brand and the Product/Manufacturing. The company works with high end wooden materials, high glossy laminate, etc. As far as color schemes are concerned please refrain from using metal, silver and/chrome tones (including all Pantone metallic formula + chips).

Based on these often BORING websites one can see that it is a conservative industry. WW Displays wants to take a NEW approach and that's what the new logo should reflect.
