I'm working on a basic "VNC" like solution using an HTML5 / Jacvascript client I have found on a web a example of the HTML5 client but it needs some work to work with my server.
1- Today the client is the simple WebSocket text base framing (0x00/0xFF) to send the pictures which is not really efficient.
2- I need you to modify the javacript to still use the text base framing for the control but switch to WebSocket binary framing (0x80) when the server transmits the picture.
So basically how it works:
>client connects to server via using WebSockets
< when the client gets to the connected stats, it send a text message "ConWS" to the server
>the first time the server needs to send a full capture of the screen in a binary stream so first it sends in text a JSON frame: {"type":"fu","x":0,"y":0,"width":[login to view URL],"height":[login to view URL]}
> then the binary stream
> the next times the server will just send "rectangles" of the screen that have change change. Basically the format will stay the same just x and y will not be 0:
{"type":"fu","x":[login to view URL],"y":[login to view URL],"width":[login to view URL],"height":[login to view URL]}
> then the binary stream
I have added the source of the client for your information. You can use it or create an other one.
You can find the WebSocket sepcification here: <[login to view URL]>
