The Application is called Pocket coach.
It's an iPhone app that’s a dynamic coaching reference tool for junior sports coaches. Targeted towards the novice who’s new to coaching and likes the concept of electronic lesson plans on an iPhone. Activities are explained using simple to understand instructions, diagrams and computer animation. When skills are completed during the session, they are moved to a future lesson plan to be repeated later. If participants aren’t ready for a skill, the coach can replace it with a similar skill, keeping the current lesson plan balanced. Favourite activities can be flagged and lesson plans can be emailed to others.
This tender covers the technical design and development of the application. This requirements document hopefully outlines the need for the application to be just the framework, without the need to “hardcode” any design elements. The business objective is to create different for 5 different sports and 5 different age groups, thus a total of 25 different applications, using the same application design. This means all data content & graphics is outside the scope of the tender. Test data & graphics will be provided for testing. There are 5 screens, 4 really basic ones and one that's complicated since it has to create lesson plans with the ability to modify them on the fly.
Attached is a requirements document and a very basic (and probably technically incorrect) data table, at least it has a bit of test data inside. This app is my first iPhone App and my first project posted on this website. For this reason, i want more than just a quote, please comment on requirements, in particular how you would solve the problem of the creation and modification of the lesson plans. Once I've selected a developer, we'll chat more about test data and changes to requirements. I have over 15 years experience in the IT so I should be a good customer to have...although out of it in the last 5 years. I'm based in Australia and work most nights to midnight so always online.
WHEN YOU BID, YOU MUST COMMENT ON HOW YOU WOULD MANAGE THE DATA.
