Ongoing Website Building & Improvements for US based startup

US based company looking for web developer on an ongoing freelance or employment basis (in-office or remote) You would be working on our marketing website / homepage. The website is build ontop of wordpress, hence wordpress knowledge helpful. Ideally you bring the following skillset: - Ability to communicate in english well - Ability to communicate in person or video/audio call - ability to write high-quality code, that includes things such as structure, naming, formatting, reusabilty, and sticking to best practices - proven knowledge and experience in HTML/CSS/JS - ideally proven experience with Bootstrap or other HTML/CSS frameworks - the ability to carry out well defined tasks - ideally experience with Javascript frameworks such as (but not limited to) Jquery or AngularJS - experience with a version control system, ideally Git and Github - the ability to carry out more broadly defined tasks (<-- this is where it gets tricky and prob. depends on the persons pricing) - ideally experience with a frontend build tool such as grunt or gulp - good understanding of design, user experience, images to enhance user experience on different devices / situations Other than we are looking for a person that is fun to work with and is interested in latest technologies and web trends! The position is full time or at least 20-30 hours a week. We are looking for a long term partner.
