This is a pretty simple design challenge, that's harder to explain than to draw. If I had any talent at drawing or design, that is. I need a single image to illustrate a range of values, (3 degrees Centigrade, +/- 1.5 degrees) that has not remained essentially unchanged from 1979 to the present day. That's it. I think the best way to do it is to show a thermometer, with "3 degrees" marked on it, and the range that extends from 1.5 to 4.5 degrees shaded or otherwise indicated. I'll upload my pathetic drawing to better illustrate the idea. I need this rather quick and will pay $20 to whoever can work with me to fine tune it so that I can use it in a video to illustrate a discussion by one of the world's most famous climate scientists. It will be a great addition to your resume!
