Startup: GAMESWAP

We are an exciting startup (GameSwap) looking for an experienced web/web-app developer to bring on board for a VERY exciting crowdfunding campaign through fundraising sites like Indiegogo or Kickstarter or other venues. Candidate will receive % of ideal target goal of $50,000.-$100,000. but no less than $30,000 goal. Mission: Disrupting the used-games market The used-game market, currently dominated by GameStop, is ripe for disruption, GameStop achieves a gross margin of around 50% by selling used games and hardware. It's a simple business model, buying low and selling high, but it leaves the consumer feeling cheapened and taken advantage of. GameSwap is a new online store that wants to change the way people think about trading in games. Our major goal is to simplify the entire process of buying a new release via trade in. No matter which way you look at it, you shouldn't have to trade in over five popular old games just to buy a new one. GameStop alone made $1.7 billion from used games in 2013, and it dominates that market. GameSwap seeks to capture some of that market by offering up a compelling alternative. Requirements: We need an excellent, focused graphic designer that is immersed in the most current trends of website design. The amount of work and time constraints will be intense, as we're going live pretty soon.
