the project is simple, i need 2 applets doing the following. 1. Provider applet - capture webcam and mic and deliver to Wowza Server) - display some statistics (text only) (i will deliver xml or json data as you like) - allow of typing text messages to be sent to all viewers (will be handled via wowza too .. i just need a text box to get the text to the server) 2. Viewer applet - display providers stream audio and video - text box to enter messages to type - checks for a json or xml response for permission and disconnect stream if permission has been removed everything straight forward and simple, wowza has a ready SDK so there is no programming required. the applet should look presentable but not have to be perfect in design (we can extend the project later for the artwork ... right now i just need it to work) if other than adobe flash is better, i happy to change the client platform on your recomentation.
