I am a graduate engineer with vast experience of 20 years in Excel / lotus-123 in formula, charts, graphs, macros and VB codes. I have also full exposure to the Engineering, managerial and commercial mathematics.

I've worked in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for a very long time now. I've already completed what you needed. I used the "Total" as my search item because I used the built in Find function. I also added a message box that will come up with the names of any sheets that it was unable to find the totals for. Just accept me and all we'll need to change are the column titles and sheet title.
