I would like to develop a device that can communicate a device that can interface with a grid tie inverter via a RS485 interface using Arduino. The inverter has a set of parameters that can be requested by the inverter protocol, as well as a set of instructions that can be sent to the inverter.
The successful bidder will implement all relevant requests and instructions included in the inverter protocol sheet (about 12 requests, and 3 instructions which will be supplied). Data must be logged to a SQL database via WIFI/Ethernet/USB, and must be visible on a small LCD screen. A set of 2 or 3 buttons must be included to manually adjust settings, or view different parameters.
The project is subject to a non-disclosure agreement. Please only bid if you have experience with commercial RS485 communication.
Deliverables will include the full code, a list of components and if possible a simulation.
A variation of the project on another platform, such as Raspberry pi, will be considered.
