I have designed a Linear Induction Motor Model and it is available in Solidworks / IGS format in approximate dimensions. I need to perform FEA on that model and see how it responds at particular Voltage/current combination. What's its output like speed, force and acceleration over a period of time.

You can use Maxwell or Solidworks or Autodesk EMS or Infolytica or OperaFEA or Matlab or any open source software.
I have multiple about 10-12 variations of the design models to perform this simulation on and I'm proposing $ 50 for the first assignment to begin with.

LIM FEA I suggest to use Matlab/Simulink. I am electrical enginner and I have experience in modeling. First of all I will write down mathematical model of the system, and if it is required and easier I will transform it in the dq domain, step by step. I think that this is better for you to have a mathematical model for further work. After that I will put that equitions in matlab/simulink and simulate. Equitions will contain electrical and mechanical part (newton's low of moving). If you have some question for me, please let me know. Hope to cooperate, best regards.
