Hello how are you? My name is Ugur Catak. I am an Excel VBA developer. I understand that you need to take GDS's data into excel and need some extra macro/formula calculations to do more accurate estimations. I downloaded the GDS software, I don't know how to use it but interestingly it is programmed in older visual studio, probably Visual Basic. I have very good news for you. The database of the program is in MS Access and has no password. So, We can use same database for our excel as a database. You don't need to export excel report from the GDS's software (I couldn't find an excel export menu in the app also). I can use its database directly in Excel itself and everything would be synchronized. When you changed something in GSD WinBidPro you will be seeing it in Excel, without any extra effort. And our calculations/formulas/macros will take care of the rest. I am a software developer with 12+ years of experience, and Visual Basic was my first Love in programming languages.
