Simple database + data gathering of information (food ingredients-spices)

To summarize information about spices from various sources. •For 100 spices, about 40 metadata should be gathered for each of the spices. About 10 fields will require creating a well written summarized text, based on information from the sources (about •For 75 spice blends about 10 meta data should be gathered, as well as specifying of spice contents of the blend plus countries where it comes from. A few fields will require creating a well written summarized text •To all data gathered, reference links should be noted. •The assignment will first be to finalize the information model that should be used. •Then create/setup a database, or excel or similar solution where data is to be captured. •Then run through with a few spices to test and refine the model. •Thereafter complete with gathering and completing the rest of the information Skills required •Ability to refine an information model and setup a simple database (some of the data captured has a 1 to many relation making a flat structure inefficient) •Good writing skills to summarize the data in a structured way •Attention to details •Interest in food, biology och chemistry is a plus, since some of the data will be of that kind Possibilities ahead. We expect to continue with this work, so good opportunity to more similar work
