E-commerce related articles required

I am looking for someone with excellent written English to produce a series of short articles on the subject of e-commerce aimed at those planning to set up, or already running an online store. Articles should be interesting, informative and well written. The aim is to provide good readable content, rather than keyword-stuffed pages. I am initially looking for 6 articles, but am **genuinely** interested in finding authors to produce regular content for this and other websites. * This project consists of 6 articles of between 450 and 800 words each. * Articles will be aimed at an audience who are either planning to set up an online store in the UK, or already involved in the running of one. * The target audience of the site is UK based, meaning that articles should either be international in nature or be targeted to a UK audience (for example, a discussion of US tax law would not be acceptable). * The purpose of the articles is to provide interesting additional reading to the site users, and the style of any articles should reflect this. * If any images are needed to accompany the article, these can be included, but are not a requirement. * I am willing to pay $50 for the complete set of 6 initial articles. Because the aim of this project is to provide readable content, rather than just search engine fodder, I am leaving the exact choice of article topic to the author. General ideas may include any of the following, but this list should not be seen as definitive: * E-commerce law * Merchant accounts / online payments * Fraud * Customer service * Marketing an online store * Technical issues surrounding e-commerce * Planning an online store * Taxation / VAT That list is pretty broad, so hopefully won't stifle anyone's creativity. All bids should be accompanied by: * A list of proposed article titles (and explanation if this is not clear) * A sample of your writing to allow us to get a feel for your style. I'll be happy to answer any questions that you may have. ## Deliverables 1. Articles must be 100% original content. Articles that are copied, borrowed or compiled from other sources will NOT be accepted. 2. Articles must be a minimum of 450 words in length, with a suggested maximum of 800 words. 3. All articles will be reviewed & checked prior to acceptance to verify that they meet the project requirements. Edits or redrafts may be required if either project requirements are not met, or the quality of articles is questionable. The project will not be deemed complete until such redrafts are accepted after re-review. 4. The original files, together with any copies or backups made, must be erased from the authors computer within 7 days of payment being made. 5. All articles will be considered work made for hire and all rights to the articles will be transferred to me upon payment. The author will not retain any right to reproduce or resell any part of the articles once payment has been made. 6. All articles will be written exclusively for this project. It is not acceptable to reproduce previously sold or published articles, even if the author retains the copyright on these. 7. Articles will be produced in plain text format or as an unformatted Microsoft Word document with paragraphs double spaced. These files may optionally be submitted as a single .zip archive. 8. Articles will be written in English (UK) and be checked for spelling and grammar before submission. 9. Images are not required as part of this project, but can be included. Where included these should be provided in .gif or .jpg format 10. All deliverables will be supplied within 14 days of acceptance of your bid. ## Platform Plain, unformatted, text files OR Microsoft Word. One file per articles Optional images in .jpg or .gif format.
