Residential Flats Electrical Design - Re-tender

This project included full electrical design and materials take-off of 11 flats, communal area and small commercial unit. The design must be to the current UK standards and include typical cable runs, distribution board layouts and full cable sizes. A project-specific specification will also be required based on the generic M&E specification provided. As part of the milestone agreement I shall be looking for the scheme to be split into the following: 1. Lighting (including emergency lighting) and small power design including cables runs, sizing & circuit schedules 2. Fire system, sprinkler, data, TV/Sat & telephone 3. Calculations to support design 4. Full specification using customer outline requirements (spec). 5. Full take off for electrical systems (excel) All symbols will need to be as per UK AutoCAD MEP where possible. Supply details including Earth loop impedance and entry point are available and will be provided on request. A standard housing specification will be provided containing all makes and models of equipment to be used and no exceptions shall be granted unless approved - For Spec above All heating for the flats is to be electric including water All consumables (cable, sockets, back boxes, SWA...) to be UK standard Distribution board will be located in each flat with supply run from the incoming location with cables sized according to the load and length of the run. I have not included the mechanical part of the project within the scope above but if anyone can deliver both I am open to discussions on awarding both the M&E to the same person.
