People count detection using opencv c++

Hi! I would like to work on your project. Here is as I can see the algorithm: 1. Make some interface to choose the source of the video ( from camera or read from file) 2. Take frame by frame video ( as an image): and here I will work with identification of pedestrians. 3. Change from color to grayscale and use a technique to extract contours( could be with threshold or watershed) 4. Identify actual people, and drop the rest 5. Count and display count bar (amount of people crossing each line) So I have few question: 1. Are you going to use app for Windows or Linux ? 2. Do you want it in executable or you have a Python IDLE? 3. What the accuracy do you wish to achieve? Last app like this I achieved 97%, if it's ok with you, let's work on it. Hello, My name is Mauro Baresic and I am a Computer Vision expert. I have knowledge and experience working with OpenCV and C++. I have been using OpenCV over 4 years now. I have the knowledge of how to do people(pedestrian) detection using OpenCV because I have already done this. I have experience processing video from file or from live stream using OpenCV. I have masters in computer science and my field of study was computer vision, so I have a strong understanding of computer vision algorithms. I may done that before 10 days , depends on what conditions need for identifying the people by , there is a need for more details .

I have worked on several projects that are really relevant to this project such as gender prediction and roulette ball fall calculator and I used opencv in all these project. People can be easily counted by detecting the biggest blob in the video. I really feel confident about this project so interview me so that I can prove my self.
