Simple File System that runs on emulator. Maximum of ten characters for the filename Directory entry limited to 16 bytes in length (or fit within 16 bytes) Limit the number of data blocks in the file system to 1024. Note: superblock, FBM, and WM are not included in this. So your actual disk file will include them. Alternatively, you could use 1021 for the data blocks. The reason I want to limit to 1024 is to compensate for an oversight in my part. It seems the FBM and WM have to be versioned as well! You can follow a much simpler approach now. Only use the least significant bit to indicate whether a block is used or unused. Since you have 8 bits you can keep an history of 8 versions in FBM and WM.
